Well, finaly I got the time to start this little idea that had been in my head for weeks... the first of I hope many alien life forms from my imaginary world "little garden", thanks to those who helped me with the idea for this work ^^
Ok, this little friend have the size of a brown bear, living all his life in the branches of the giant tree "kapuna" or "spirit of the world", a redish color helps it to mimic with the red leaves and a colorfull mane helps him to find a mate (seriously, what kind of predator would mess with a tree brown bear ¬¬. As you can notice, it have a long tail evolved from the tentacles used by his ancestors in order to climb trees many millions of years ago, also having a couple of small tentacles wich shows the long path taken by its evolution, a remain of the life in water. Two powerfull jaws used to crush giant nuts of the kapuna, its main food. The 3 claws are obviously for climbing and the stripes in his tail have a similar function as the fingers of the gecko, giving it a great grip. To end this description... the fur of this creature isnt fur at all, is something similar to feathers giving a greater system of temperature control taking the hot air and and bringing the cold one.
I believe this is everything, sry if I made some mystake with the english, hope you liked this glance to my little garden ^^
wow, man, you achieved a really alien look while still coming across with a very strong primate feel. I love the idea of putting the tail with that body.
Finally my firstbaby is complete T.T. music for a great moment) you can't imagine the time this creature has been in my head, the good side is that it had improved exactly for that reason, too much time thinking in the details, size and characteristics XD, your last artwork helped me to finish this guy... the next one is going to be a predator, als of the trees, something between a spider, velociraptor andflying squirrel
